WP Courses plugin offers many benefits for both the course author and the student.
Course authors benefit from WP Courses by having an easy way to create online courses that can be used for teaching, training, learning, certification programs, etc. They also get statistics on how their users interact with courses (e.g., tracking how many times a video has been viewed).
Students benefit by being able to access the training materials provided through the course in order to learn or to train themselves on specific topics or skillsets. Instructors can also provide certificates of completion should they need proof of participation in these types of educational programs/courses.
WP Courses can be used by:
Unlimited Courses and Lessons: You can create as many courses and lessons as you want. Assign lessons to a specific course, add a description of a course, add a progress bar with completion percentage stats, etc.
Progress Tracking: Keep track of a student's progress through a lesson or a course. Know when they started, where exactly they're at in the course, and where to find them when they're done.
WooCommerce Integration: Sell the courses you create on your WordPress website using WooCommerce. Students can purchase and enroll in your course(s) directly from within the WP Courses plugin.
Paid Memberships Pro Integration: Create a paid membership site using Paid Memberships Pro. Allow students to access the courses you create only if they've logged in with their paid membership account information.
Quizzes: Add quizzes with questions to your course lessons. Give students the opportunity to take a quiz at the end of each lesson before moving forward with the next lesson in the course.
Lesson Attachments: Attach files or images to be used in your lessons. These can be additional documents, media content, etc.
Automated Emails: You can choose to send a welcome email or a reminder email to your students. These emails can be sent once at the start of a course, after a lesson, after every lesson/assignment, etc.
Lesson Restriction: You can choose to restrict a lesson from being seen by students until they complete the previous lesson(s). This allows you to create a course that has multiple lessons and exams before allowing access to the next lesson.
Badges: You can choose to award badges to your students as a way of giving them a reward for completing a lesson, an assignment, a course, etc.
