The template she uses is eCover on the homepage, in the colors of her brand. Her feature box has a simple design – almost entirely orange – against the pale background of the homepage. It tell visitors of her newsletter, which features <\/span>10 unexpected places to find freelance writing clients. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Offering up such desirable information can prove <\/span>to be an effective strategy for <\/span>you too, in making users sign up to your list.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As a blogger who had a very specific and anti-popular advice business plan for my blog, I knew I needed a tool that made my email list the focal point of my blog. Plugmatter made things easy by putting a well designed sign up form at the top of my blog. The best part has to be the total control Plugmatter gives me to customize my sign up form. Its significantly larger size, and the grey background that contrasts well with the pale background of his website – make the feature box stand out to visitors. The copy lists three main traffic elements that advertisers would want, to attract subscribers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Plugmatter’s Feature Box is the magic and madness of list building. 24 hours after setting it up on my blog I got over 200 new subscribers, up from 3 – 10 usual daily subscribers.\u00a0What pleased me first was the ease of installation on my Genesis \u00a0Prose child theme. Though INinbox (my Email marketing platform) is not on list of inbuilt platforms, it took me less than 3 minutes to fill out a simple form and all was set.\u00a0Everyone else should catch this madness.<\/div>

The template he\u2019s used and customized is the Portrait template. The checklist in his copy, lists the most important features of the learning course, helping users know what’s in the package, and what it\u2019s benefits are.<\/span><\/p>\n

What I like about Plugmatter plugin is that it’s easy to install and customize to fit in the WordPress theme I’m using. I’m not a very good coder so that was a huge leg up. It also allows me to show different features boxes on different pages and track which page visitors are subscribing to my list. This is great because I can get more insights into the visitors’ interests and behavior on the site.<\/div>
